**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform fitting and mechanical assembly tasks based on engineering drawings and instructions.
- Carry out routine **preventive and corrective maintenance** of machines and mechanical equipment.
- Ensure **safety of the premises**, including regular inspections of tools, machines, and plant infrastructure.
- Monitor and support **fire safety measures** and assist in maintaining fire extinguishers and safety equipment.
- Take care of **infrastructure-related work** such as minor civil repairs, pipeline fittings, and structural maintenance.
- Assist in the **installation and upkeep of new machines** and equipment.
- Identify and resolve faults or wear in mechanical parts to avoid downtime.
- Maintain proper documentation for all maintenance activities.
- Provide **on-the-job training to machine operators** regarding basic handling, safety practices, and preventive care of machines.
- Support the team in ensuring compliance with workplace safety and hygiene standards.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- ITI certification in Fitter trade from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical fittings, machine tools, and plant equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
- Knowledge of **plant safety norms**, **fire safety standards**, and **preventive maintenance** schedules.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, welding, grinding, and other fabrication work.
- Physically fit and capable of working in industrial environments.
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Pay: ₹10,179.36 - ₹24,495.70 per month
