**Your key responsibilities**
- Cloud Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business and technical teams, to understand their requirements and develop cloud-based solutions that leverage GCP services and technologies. Design architectures that are scalable, cost-effective, and meet high availability and security standards.
- Infrastructure Planning and Implementation: Develop infrastructure and deployment strategies for GCP environments, including network configuration, storage, compute resources, and security controls. Deploy and configure GCP services and resources to support the desired solution architecture.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Design and configure appropriate security controls, such as identity and access management, and network security. Perform security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
- Performance Optimization and Monitoring: Optimize the performance and scalability of GCP solutions by fine-tuning configurations, monitoring resource utilization, and identifying performance bottlenecks. Set up monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Documentation and Technical Support: Create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational procedures. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay Updated on GCP Technologies: Keep up with the latest advancements and updates in GCP services, features, and best practices. Evaluate new technologies and tools and make recommendations for their adoption to enhance the organization’s cloud capabilities.

**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**
- Strong experience designing and implementing cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of GCP services and technologies, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like ADO, Terraform, Ansible, Atlantis
- Solid understanding of networking principles, including virtual private cloud (VPC), subnets, load balancing, and firewall rules.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
