IT Principal Architect

**IT Principal Architect Experience: 14 + years**

**Job Location: Mohali / Hybrid**

**Introduction**

The IT Principal Architect is responsible providing architectural designs for solutions that address specific business needs. Team members develop expertise within their domain, develop a roadmap for their systems, and communicate that plan to others within the organization. The Solution Architect must assist Enterprise architects to map, define and standardize technology, data, and business processes for a sustainable, long-term technology roadmap. This position requires a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the collaborative development of a Technology strategy, technology architecture and technology roadmap(s) that matches corporate strategy and/or goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry standards.
- Ensure high-quality architecture and design documentation, including design patterns, best practices, and technical standards.
- Design and develop software solutions that meet the requirements of our clients using Microsoft technologies and Python.
- Develop and implement Microservices architecture that supports scalability, fault-tolerance, and ease of maintenance.
- Work with database developers to design and implement database solutions that support high performance, security, and scalability.
- Ensure that software solutions are secure, reliable, and performant.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Work with project managers to ensure that software solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the needs of our clients.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and architecture which should be incorporated into SoftProdigy’s policies & roadmap

**Qualifications**
- University degree in the field of computer science with 14+ years of experience in IT project development.
- Practical knowledge of latest technology stacks like Python, AI/ML, Javascripts, golang.
- Experience with Microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Knowledge of additional skills like Snowflakes, Microsoft Power Automate, Mobile technologies, ROR is a big plus.
- Expertise in Microsoft technologies, including.NET, C#, ASP.NET, and Azure.
- Extensive experience with databases, including SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration.
- Familiarity with security principles and best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Strong understanding of software performance optimization and scalability techniques.
- Familiarity with mobile app development platforms like Native iOS, Android, React Native and Flutter frameworks.
- Familiarity with machine learning and data science.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional certifications in related technologies, such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Solutions Architect.
- Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
