Position Overview: We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Fashion Designer specializing in women's formal luxury wear to join our esteemed design team. As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing exquisite collections of formal attire tailored to the tastes of our discerning clientele.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Stay abreast of current fashion trends, market demands, and competitor offerings to ensure the brand remains innovative and competitive in the luxury segment.
- Translate design concepts into detailed sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards, effectively communicating design ideas to the patternmaking and production teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Pattern Makers, and Sample Makers throughout the design process, ensuring the integrity of the designs is maintained from concept to execution.
- Source and select high-quality fabrics, trims, and embellishments that align with the brand's luxury positioning and design vision.
- Oversee the fitting process, making necessary adjustments to garment prototypes to achieve optimal fit, drape, and proportion.
- Participate in fabric and garment fittings, providing constructive feedback to ensure the final product meets design specifications and quality standards.
- Work closely with the Merchandising team to develop cohesive collections that reflect market demands, pricing strategies, and production feasibility.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop compelling product presentations, marketing materials, and sales strategies to effectively promote the collections.
- Maintain a keen awareness of production timelines, deadlines, and budgetary constraints, ensuring designs are delivered on schedule and within budget parameters.
- Conduct regular market research and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities and areas for innovation within the women's formal luxury wear segment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field. Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Fashion Designer specializing in women's formal luxury wear, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design software.
- Excellent sketching and illustration skills, with a keen eye for detail and proportion.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and draping techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of creativity and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to translate market trends and consumer insights into innovative and commercially viable design concepts.
- Knowledge of luxury fashion market dynamics, including key competitors, pricing strategies, and consumer preferences.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as required for research, sourcing, and production oversight.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
