Account Executive for E-commerce Industry

Responsibilities
- **Transaction management**: Record and manage daily accounting entries, including journal vouchers, debit notes, and credit notes.
- **E-commerce reconciliation**: Reconcile payments from e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Shopify with sales invoices.
- **Expense tracking**: Monitor and verify marketplace commissions, shipping charges, returns, and other deductions.
- **Inventory and COGS**: Maintain accurate records of cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory valuation.
- **Tax compliance**: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements like GST and TDS, process tax payments, and file returns.
- **Financial reporting**: Prepare periodic financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- **Month
- and year-end close**: Support and execute closing activities at the end of each period.
- **Accounts Payable/Receivable**: Manage vendor payments and track customer payments.
- **Payroll**: Process payroll, including calculating wages and ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations.
- **Auditor support**: Coordinate with internal and external auditors for accounting-related requirements.

Required skills and qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, or Xero.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce financial operations, including revenue recognition and inventory valuation.
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance across multiple states and multi-currency transactions.
- Experience with multiple sales channels and platforms is often preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with fast-paced, high-growth businesses.
- A customer-centric mindset, with the ability to act as a financial advisor.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹36,247.85 per month
