The **DAV Group - Chennai**, functioning under the aegis of Tamil Nadu Arya Samaj Educational Society was established in **1970**at Gopalapuram in Chennai with just 50 students. The Group today, caters to over **40,000 students** across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. It has a staff of 1500 plus which includes 1,200 teachers. Four of our branches have been consistently ranked amongst top 15 schools in the country.
In addition to K-12 schooling, DAV has recently ventured into **Higher Education** with DAV-SMK Fomra College of Arts & Science at Kelambakkam, Chennai.
**Job description**
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Primary Teacher with expertise in teaching Tamil language to young students. The Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and promoting the overall development of primary school students.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
- Fluency in Tamil language.
- Teaching certification or qualification.
- Previous experience in teaching primary school students is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
