QA Tester

**Required Skills & Behaviors**:

- 0-3 years of experience as a QA Tester, software tester, quality assurance, or in a similar role
- Basic understanding of project management tools like Jira, Trello, and Asana
- Contribute to the development of test plan and testing strategy
- Knowledge of Testing Tools & Browsers like Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc.
- Testing Types: Functional, UI, API tools like Postman
- Languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic)
- Proficient in UI and basic knowledge of Figma
- Basic knowledge of design tools like Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop
- Proficient in reading comprehension with the ability to understand customer needs in English and intermediate-level
written communication skills in English. This includes active listening and the ability to build rapport
- Developing a keen eye for identifying discrepancies and bugs in software using basic technical principles, layout,
alignment, bug identification, etc
- Enhancing problem-solving skills to understand complex systems and identify potential issues
- Ability to work with a quick turnaround time while maintaining a balance of quantity without compromising quality
- Eye for detail, you find errors/bugs that others overlook
- A distinct understanding of technical contexts and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new software
- Develop, document, and maintain test cases and test plans
- Humorous personality with fun at work in the team

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to the development of test plans and testing strategies.
- Design, create, and execute test cases based on project requirements.
- Perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and Acceptance Testing; accurately report, track, and document defects.
- Generate test cases based on requirements and other relevant documents.
- Execute test cases and provide detailed defect reports, including bug summaries.
- Independently manage end-to-end testing of assigned products.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of QA roles and responsibilities within an Agile framework.
- Identify issues, resolve bottlenecks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Interface with project managers and software developers to support the continuous improvement of software quality.
- Develop and enhance testing workflows for efficient quality checks on software.
- Identify and document weaknesses or bugs in software before delivery to customers.
- Document findings and report defects using JIRA (familiarity with JIRA is preferred; training will be provided).
- Quickly familiarize yourself with complex systems and workflows.
- Approach testing with a critical perspective to ensure thorough coverage.
- Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality at each phase of development.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments to ensure smooth and efficient testing operations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹220,817.88 - ₹402,068.63 per year
