- Create marketing plans to promote the products and services of the organisation
- Identify and qualify new customers as per company's policies and business model
- Content creation and social media management

They may also look for opportunities to build partnerships instead of selling products or services directly to the customers. Thus, to successfully perform these roles, marketing skills are very crucial for a business development associate.
