- Java position is a senior role with accountability for solution architecture scoped to business-transformative projects and is involved with projects from inception through implementation.

**Job Requirements**
- Responsible for project-level solution design ensuring the solution design optimally satisfies needs and expectations of the project stakeholders
- Advocates and champions Enterprise Architecture and Domain Architecture recommendations to the project team
- Responsible for overall solution quality; security, performance, flexibility, availability, etc.
- Responsible for deciding technologies to use in the solution not already defined by the Domain Architecture and Enterprise Architecture teams
- Responsible for architecture deliverables such as; non-functional requirements, system diagrams, data models, and traceability matrix to track and monitor the solution from requirements to design to implementation to test cases

**Qualifications**:

- At least 12+ yrs of experience in building products using Java and related JEE/J2EE technology stack
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Architecture experience is required
- Experience must include programming APIs; Java/JEE; Hibernate; Spring Framework; JSP; AJAX; JavaScript; XML and XML parsers; SOAP/REST web services; service oriented architectures (SOA); data modeling skills; and writing stored procedures.
- Experience must include working knowledge of Kafka or any of the event streaming technology
- Experience with integration of third party tools and cloud middleware platforms
- Experience & working knowledge in AWS Services (AWS Docker ECS, AWS Application load balancer, S3).
- Capable of working with Operations to plan major infrastructure upgrades, to troubleshoot issues and to tune the environment for optimal performance and uptime.
- Ability to manage solution architecture design to align to business value
- Ability to build solution architecture models using UML.
- Ability to strongly justify the proposed architecture and design in a comparative mode.
- Ability to develop and manage architecture models such as activity models, class models and data models.
