Key responsibilities of an HMC Operator:

- **Machine Setup**:

- Load workpieces onto the HMC table according to the work order and blueprint.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools based on material and machining operations.
- Set up machine parameters including feed rates, speeds, and depth of cut.
- Align and zero the workpiece using machine probes and reference points.
- **Operation and Monitoring**:

- Run CNC programs to execute machining operations like milling, drilling, and boring.
- Monitor machine performance during operation, checking for any errors or deviations from specifications.
- Make necessary adjustments to machining parameters as needed based on quality checks and feedback.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

- **CNC Programming**:Understanding of CNC programming languages (e.g., Fanuc, Heidenhain) to edit and modify existing programs or create new ones for complex machining operations.
- **Blue Print Reading**:Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including tolerances and dimensions, to accurately set up and machine parts.
- **Mechanical Aptitude**:Basic understanding of mechanical principles and machine operation.

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training in CNC machining or related field
- Prior experience as a CNC operator or similar role, preferably on HMC machines (YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 8to12Years)
