Junior Quality Inspector

Job Title: Quality Inspector - Location: Navi Mumbai

Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview We are hiring a **Quality Inspector** to join our team and ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting products at different stages of production, creating detailed quality reports, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities* Your primary duties will include:
1. Quality Inspection - Conduct inspections at various stages of production to ensure product quality.
- Check products for defects, accuracy of dimensions, and proper assembly according to company standards.
- Perform visual and measurement-based inspections, including evaluating powder-coated surfaces for finish and durability.

2. Reporting - Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI):

- Create detailed PDI reports to verify that finished products meet client specifications before delivery.
- In-Process Reporting:

- Document and report on quality checks conducted during manufacturing processes.
- Track and highlight issues that arise during production.
- Powder Coating Quality Reporting:

- Prepare reports on coating thickness, adhesion, and surface quality.
- Highlight any discrepancies or areas requiring improvement.

3. Compliance and Standards - Ensure all inspections and processes comply with the company’s quality standards and any relevant industry regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace following.

4. Issue Identification and Resolution - Identify defects or quality issues in products and communicate them to the production team.
- Recommend corrective actions and work with relevant teams to implement solutions.
- Re-inspect products after corrections to ensure issues have been resolved.

5. Documentation and Data Management - Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports, and quality performance metrics.
- Use basic computer tools (e.g., Excel, Word) to document findings and create reports.

6. Team Collaboration - Work closely with production, powder coating, and assembly teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to quality benchmarks.
Qualifications and SkillsRequired: - Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 -3 years in a quality inspection or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills:

- Experience in creating and managing PDI, in-process, and powder coating reports.
- Proficient with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic understanding of powder coating processes and quality parameters.
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) for report creation.
- Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills to identify defects or inconsistencies.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
