Job Title: Picker and Packer

Job Overview:
As a Picker and Packer, your primary responsibility is to efficiently and accurately fulfill customer orders by selecting, picking, and packing products in a warehouse or distribution center. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that orders are processed and shipped in a timely manner, meeting quality standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
**Order Picking**:Use order sheets, pick lists, or digital devices to identify and locate products within the warehouse.
Navigate through the warehouse to retrieve items from shelves or designated storage areas.
Ensure accurate picking of the right quantity and variant of products according to customer orders.

**Packing**:Package selected items securely and appropriately for shipping.
Utilize packing materials and methods to prevent damage during transportation.
Verify that the correct items and quantities are packed in each shipment.

**Quality Control**:Inspect products for any defects or damage before packing.
Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors.
Maintain a high level of accuracy in picking and packing processes.

**Labeling and Documentation**:Affix shipping labels to packages with accurate shipping information.
Ensure that all required documentation, such as packing slips and invoices, is included in each shipment.

**Organization and Cleanliness**:Keep the work area clean and organized to facilitate efficient workflow.
Assist in periodic inventory counts and stock replenishment.

**Safety and Compliance**:Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations related to warehouse operations.

**Communication**:Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate any issues or challenges that may impact order fulfillment.

**Time Management**:Work efficiently to meet daily quotas and deadlines.
Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to optimize productivity.

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing tasks.
- Basic computer skills for order tracking and inventory management.
- Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

**Salary**: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,902.22 per month
