**The Opportunity**:
As a Principal Architect at Open Text, you should be a technical expert in Opentext VIM, ABAP and knowledgeable in business processes of Procure to Pay, Order to Cash and other SAP functional modules. It will provide an challenging opportunity for the person to design, architect the OpenText Product VIM to suits our customer needs. You should act as a mentor and act as an SME for VIM. This role can gradually learn other opentext tools like xECM, BC and Flipper portal.

**Primary Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Understand the complex requirements of customer, analyze options, and build a foolproof architecture & design
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops, identify the fit to standard and identify the gaps, provide solutions
- Work alongside with the regional teams from Ecosystem practice and contribute and deliver the projects both in coloration as well as Individually
- Able to lead a small technical team, mentor and guide for deliverables
- Test the solution and troubleshoot any issues and resolve on time
- Should be able to drive the cutover strategy, cutover & go-live plan
- Work with the project manager, to provide inputs on project plan & deliverables
- Should be good in preparing SoWs, provide accurate estimates, Build PoCs as needed for the customer context
- Suggest appropriate versions of the OT tools as per the SAP landscape, should handle the upgrades as well.

**You are great at**:

- Solution design, Architecting of opentext VIM product as per customer needs
- Very good and sound in SAP programming, new dimensional technologies
- Understanding SAP Organization structure, Functional flow for Procure to Pay (PTP) cycle, Order to Cash (OTC) with a deep financial knowledge
- Good Team player, Mentor, Flexible and adaptable
- Great in building conversations with the customers and the regional teams, will be able to collaboratively work in a global environment
- Prior experience in OpenText tools like IC4S, xECM, ADA, Business Center, Archive server is an added advantage

**What it takes**:

- Hands on experience in SAP ABAP, Basic & Advanced Programming, Data Dictionary & Development RICEF objects
- Person should have strong knowledge on VIM workflows.
- Person should have strong experience in VIM architecture
- Person should have knowledge on solution design for VIM and XECM.
- Experience in building custom workflows along with ABAP development experience.
- Experience in providing solutions using best practices for VIM based on the business scenarios.
- Person should have strong knowledge in VIM configurations (DP document types, process options, Role and agent determination, blocking, Approvals, ICC/IES, Archive center)
- Person should have strong knowledge in Workflow administration (Restart/repair workflows)
- Knowledge and experience in debugging/troubleshooting the workflows.
- Experience and knowledge in SAP MM (handling PO, GR, SES etc.) and FI modules with Invoice posting/blocking/parking scenarios
- Working experience in SAP Fiori standard apps and custom apps
- Knowledge in SAP S/4 Hana, OOPS and Fiori/UI5 is required
- Experience and understanding of SAP & MM functional modules and related business processes configuration is a huge plus.
- Should possess good communication skills
- Strong knowledge in ABAP debugging skills, Technical Unit Testing is required.
- Person should know how to manage with escalations
- Should be self-driven and work independently by coordinating with customers.
- Positive attitude and flexibility along with highly motivated would be important for this role.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to grasp concepts quickly and have a thirst for knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills
- Ability to use own initiative to resolve problems and to obtain relevant information needed to perform a given task
