Horticulture Officer

Spriggen Gardener, located in Kochi provides Garden Maintenance for multiple sites in Kochi. The Horticulture Officer will supervise the setup and maintenance of these sites with a team of gardeners. The role holder is responsible for multiple sites and will interact with the clients to ensure satisfaction of contracted work to ensure Spriggen Gardener revenue streams are operating smoothly.

**General Duties and Responsibilities**

Provide professional advice on the selection, ordering, planting, and maintenance of trees, shrubs, ground covers, and turf grasses required at various site

Supervise and train ground personnel in the techniques of pruning, weeding, wound dressing, cavity repair, and the cabling and bracing of trees and shrubs.

Maintain inventories, maps, and labels trees and shrubs on campus for instructional and maintenance purposes

Manage the preparation of maintenance programme for the control of plant diseases, soil health, insects and climatic conditions

Ensure irrigation and drainage facilities as appropriately required

Create work schedules for gardeners

**Education and Experience**

A graduate degree in horticulture or agriculture from an accredited college or university.

Minimum 3-year experience in a similar role.

Pay: ₹264,000.00 - ₹336,000.00 per year
