Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- **Tally Expertise & Mentorship**:

- Provide in-depth guidance and training to accountants on Tally software (including TallyPrime, Tally.ERP 9, or other relevant versions).
- Conduct regular training sessions to upskill the team on advanced Tally features such as GST compliance, inventory management, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Mentor accountants to improve their proficiency in using Tally for day-to-day accounting tasks.
- **Query Resolution & Support**:

- Act as the primary point of contact for all Tally-related queries and concerns raised by the accounting team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues in Tally, ensuring mínimal disruption to client deliverables.
- Assist in configuring Tally settings to align with PokketCFO’s workflows and client-specific requirements.
- **Process Optimization**:

- Review and enhance the team’s use of Tally to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes.
- Ensure proper implementation of Tally features like multi-ledger accounting, bank reconciliation, and tax computations.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to standardize Tally-based workflows across client projects.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Monitor the team’s Tally entries and reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards and client expectations.
- Identify and rectify errors or discrepancies in Tally data, providing corrective guidance to the team.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Tally software in an accounting or training capacity.
- Proven experience in mentoring or training teams on Tally or similar accounting software
- **Certifications**: Tally certification is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies
- **Technical Skills**:

- Expert-level proficiency in TallyPrime and/or Tally.ERP 9, including advanced modules (GST, inventory, payroll, etc.).
- Familiarity with troubleshooting Tally software issues (e.g., data migration, synchronization, customization).
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication and teaching skills to explain complex concepts in a simple manner.
- Patience and ability to mentor team members with varying levels of Tally expertise.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- **Other Skills**:

- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standard

Preferred Attributes
- Knowledge of other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Understanding of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and their integration with Tally
- **Documentation & Updates**:

- Maintain documentation of common Tally issues, solutions, and best practices for team reference.
- Stay updated on the latest Tally software updates, features, and compliance requirements (e.g., GST, TDS) and train the team accordingly.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
