Job Title: Swimming Coach

**Job Description**:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Swimming Coach to join a prestigious school's athletic department. As a Swimming Coach, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive swimming program for students at various skill levels, promoting a safe and positive learning environment, and preparing athletes for competitive swimming events.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Design and execute a progressive and age-appropriate swimming program that aligns with the school's objectives and guidelines.

2. Provide swimming instruction to students of different ages and skill levels, focusing on stroke technique, endurance, speed, and overall fitness.

3. Develop personalized training plans for competitive swimmers and monitor their progress through regular assessments and evaluations.

4. Plan and conduct daily swimming practices, including warm-ups, skill drills, conditioning exercises, and cool-down routines.

5. Ensure the safety of all students during swimming activities by enforcing pool rules, maintaining a constant vigilance, and implementing appropriate rescue and emergency procedures.

6. Teach and enforce proper swimming techniques and safety practices to prevent injuries and promote efficient swimming strokes.

7. Motivate and inspire students to set and achieve individual and team goals, fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

8. Identify and nurture talented swimmers by providing additional training and opportunities for participation in inter-school competitions and swim meets.

9. Collaborate with other coaches, teachers, and parents to coordinate swimming events, fundraisers, and team-building activities.

10. Keep accurate records of attendance, performance, and progress of swimmers, and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.

11. Stay updated with the latest swimming coaching techniques, training methods, and safety protocols through professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
1. Certification as a Swim Coach from a recognized governing body or association.

2. Proven experience as a swimming coach, preferably in a school or competitive swimming club setting.

3. Strong knowledge of swimming strokes, techniques, training principles, and safety procedures.

4. Ability to assess and analyze swimmers' skills and develop individualized training plans accordingly.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and school staff.

6. CPR and First Aid certification, with the ability to respond to emergency situations effectively.

7. Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire students, fostering a love for swimming and a commitment to personal improvement.

8. Organizational skills to plan and manage practice sessions, competitions, and logistics associated with swimming events.

9. Passion for swimming and a commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among students.

10. Flexibility to work during non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate swim practices and competitions.

**Salary**: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
