Team Member (Welder) Decanter Service Shop - ALFA LAVAL INDIA

Join us as Team Member (Welder) responsible for executing repair activities for decanter repair shop as per planned schedule. Job Involve Receipt of Job. Unloading, Dismantling. Repair of conveyor as per ALFALAVAL Repair procedure. Operations involving plasma cutting, Deburring, Welding, Hard facing, Tile Tacking DP Test etc.

The position / About the Job:
In this job the Performance Dimensions and Key Responsibilities of Team Member DEC Welder will be
- Ensure repair Process:

- Receipt of job.
- Inspection of the equipment, preparation of inspection reports and scope of repair
- Preparation and planning of outsourced repair work.
- Conveyor Hub Machining, Bearing Día Repair, OD Turning and OD Grinding.
- Inspection of the conveyor after Repairing and Maintain PDI reports.
- Inspection of received parts from the supplier.
- Multiskilled at various shop activities.

ALPS, 5S, Kaizen. ISO
- Participate in ALPS Status cell meeting.
- Drive 5S activities of respective cell
- Initiate PRP to eliminate root cause of problems.
- Comply to ISO, EMS & OHSAS Requirement.

Safety, Health, and Environment
- Adhere safety first culture within team.
- Comply all safety procedure.
- Spot near miss and report.
- Ensure safe workplace.

4. Internal coordination and networking
- Develop intra organizational network to ensure smooth and timely execution of repair jobs

Behavioral / Leadership Skills

- Adherence to EMS & OHSAS Requirements.

Workplace

What you can be?
- ITI with relevant experience in Welding, Measurement and workshop activity.
- Certified Welder is an added advantage.
- Good Knowledge of repairing of conveyors, Dismantling of Decanters
- Hands on experience in Arc, MIG, TIG Welding.
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and ISO.
- Good experience in managing Lathe Machine, Milling, Drilling, Grinding Operation.
