**Designation - Subject Matter Expert / Academic Content Writer**

**Position Overview**:
As a Subject Matter Expert for our EdTech Company, you will play a critical role in developing educational content and resources that support our digital learning platforms. You will create engaging and informative materials that align with our educational goals and curriculum objectives. This role requires strong writing skills, instructional expertise, and a passion for fostering effective learning experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Content Development**: Create high-quality educational content, including textbooks, workbooks, lesson plans, and digital resources.

**Curriculum Alignment**: Ensure that the content aligns with educational standards, learning objectives, and pedagogical best practices. Modify and adapt existing materials as necessary to meet specific curriculum requirements.

**Writing and Editing**:Produce clear, concise, and well-structured written content that is accessible and engaging. Edit and proofread materials for grammar, spelling, clarity, and instructional effectiveness.

**Research and Content Enhancement**: Conduct thorough research on educational topics, learning theories, and emerging trends in the field of education.

**Quality Assurance**: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guides and formatting standards in all educational materials.

**Professional Development**: Stay updated with educational technology tools, digital learning platforms, and industry trends in the EdTech sector.

**Required Skills**:

- Preferred experience as an author, content developer or instructional designer in the education field.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and effective educational content.
- Sound understanding of pedagogical principles, instructional design models, and educational standards.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools, digital learning platforms, and multimedia integration.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, learning objectives, and assessment strategies.
- Attention to detail, with excellent editing, proofreading, and quality assurance abilities.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative mind-set, with excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong research skills to gather and analyze educational information from credible sources.
- Passion for education, learning, and the integration of technology.

**Qualification**:

- BE/Btech/Mtech: Civil/Mechanical/Electrical
- M.sc: Math/Physics/Chemistry/Biology
- MA: Economics
