**WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH**:
The role of this position requires to support clients with benchmarking and diagnostics products and solutions, while managing a team of 1-2 analysts and associates. An Associate is responsible for managing data collection initiatives, curating KPIs, leveraging data to help case teams optimize their client’s operations activities, developing and deploying diagnostic tools and generating strong business insights using analytical skills. They own a client project end to end with guidance from a Team Manager/Group Manager; manage client communication and expectations through high quality delivery of projects, while providing day to day coaching and mentoring to analysts and associates

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:

- Grow existing data assets and conduct research to identify additional external sources to enhance data coverage
- Assess and validate relevant data from various sources and build a basic understanding of internal/external sources that can be used
- Drive the data collection process end-to-end in collaboration with Bain case teams and enhance proprietary database
- Ensure strict compliance to legal guidelines while collecting data
- Develop basic understanding of various sub-functions (procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, etc.)
- Provide insightful solutions to Bain case teams
- Collaborate closely with case teams to understand case context and provide advice on how to run benchmarking analysis
- Leverage existing database, resources and conduct secondary research to provide insightful data solutions to Bain case teams
- Communicate knowledge and insights in an easy to understand and simplified format with clients, case teams and various stakeholders within and outside Bain
- Develop and enhance standardized products/ tools
- Develop a good understanding of existing products/ tools and look for opportunities to further enhance the offerings
- Collaborate with stake holders to develop new products/ solutions and provide necessary technical support
- Look for opportunities to pitch products to case teams, execute the end-to-end deployment and close loop with feedback calls
- Mentoring analysts and helping team
- Ensure timely, high quality, zero-defect analysis and output is produced by the analysts
- Help Project Lead/ Manager to manage team’s responsibilities which involve allocating, planning, guiding and reviewing work
- Provide regular feedback to analysts and conduct training to ensure constant growth and improvement

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Be a graduate within minimum 3 years of experience or postgraduate with minimum 1 year of experience in the analytics/ consulting industry and from a top-tier college with strong academic record
- Must have excellent Excel and PowerPoint knowledge; Exposure to Tableau, Alteryx or any other data visualization tool such as QlikView is good to have
- Proficient in research and analysis, but able to provide solid business judgment to derive answers in situations where data is not easily available or explicitly published
- Should possess good business acumen, strong analytical and communication skills
- Should be able to manage simple cases with moderate guidance and support, and work under pressure
