Product Owner

Position Overview:

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner with a strong background in the field of PROFINET traffic analysis. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the development and success of our PROFINET traffic analyzer product line. Your expertise in PROFINET protocols, traffic analysis tools, and industry best practices will be essential in defining product requirements, prioritizing features, and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality and market-leading product.

**Responsibilities**:

- Product Strategy and Roadmap: Collaborate with the product management team to define and refine the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the PROFINET traffic analyzer product line. Stay updated with industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive product innovation.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and engineers, to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements specific to PROFINET quality communication and network TAP devices. Translate customer needs into clear and concise product requirements and user stories, with a focus on leveraging Wireshark analysis capabilities.

Feature Prioritization: Use your deep understanding of PROFINET protocols and traffic analysis to prioritize features and define the product backlog. Make data-driven decisions based on market analysis, customer feedback, and business goals.

User Experience (UX) Design: Work closely with the UX/UI design team to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the PROFINET traffic analyzer. Provide input on wireframes, prototypes, and user testing to ensure an exceptional user experience.
- Product Documentation: Support in creating and maintain accurate and up-to-date product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and technical specifications.

Customer Engagement and Support: Engage with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and address any issues or concerns. Act as a product expert and provide technical support when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

Minimum of 9 years of experience working in the field of PROFINET traffic analysis, with a strong focus on product ownership and management.
- Deep understanding of PROFINET protocols, network traffic analysis, and related tools.
- Proficiency in configuring and utilizing network TAP devices for capturing and analyzing PROFINET traffic.
- Strong expertise in using Wireshark for PROFINET traffic analysis, including dissecting PROFINET frames, troubleshooting network issues, and capturing and decoding network traffic.
- Experience in integrating PROFINET quality communication features, network TAP devices, and Wireshark analysis capabilities into a comprehensive traffic analyzer solution.
- Knowledge of industrial automation and manufacturing systems, particularly in the context of PROFINET communication protocols and network infrastructure.
- Experience working in an agile development environment, preferably with Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering software products on time and meeting customer expectations.
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and experience working closely with design teams.
- Familiarity with the industrial automation and manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and product management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
