Ensure knowledge of Regulation in force for products of his/her PG (/BG), and state of the art of
Norms:

- Following evolution of regulations and norms in countries for which he/she is in charge, as defined by

regulation and norms organization of the BG/PG, and with the support of tranversal or group organization
in place (if any) for transversal domains, as for example regulations in terms of materials (IMDS, REACH) or
as for example regulations in terms of EMC
- Contributing to analysis of impact of these evolutions on the portfolio of products, in relation with the R&D

teams.
- Being PG representative within transversal or group organization (TFG) for transversal domains.
- Providing regularly a report of trend and roadmaps of dedicated regulations to the products of the PG,

within the countries for which he/she is in charge, as for example: pollutant and CO2 emissions, Radio
Frequency bands and power, Regulations linked to driving licence,.... These reports can include roadmaps
in terms of subsidies when buying a car, in terms of insurances linked to products (eg: glass breakage),...
Contribute to deployment in Development Centres of his/her perimeter of process to develop
products compliant to regulations and norms in force:

- Providing the rules and process, with the support of legal department, to ensure the compliance of

technical offers sent to our customers:

- that takes into account all countries where the vehicles integrating our product are sold
- that takes into account regulations and norms applicable to our products alone, versus those
applicable to the vehicle integrating our product.
- Providing up-to-date material to Development teams that will allows them to ensure the development of

product compliant to regulations and norms in force: Material includes rules and processes if necessary,
access to related documents if necessary, checklists used during design reviews if necessary, and
supporting teams to use this material.
- Providing up-to-date material to our labs to ensure that products are tested according to regulations and

norms in forces, and supporting the labs to update their means.
- Providing trainings to metiers teams and development teams.

Represent Valeo in national, regional and international Regulations and Norms instances under
authority and control of the Group External Affairs Direction:

- respecting the strategy and rules defined at BG/PG

NB.: Each Participation to national or international groups (ISO, ETSI, VDA, CLEPA, CATARC, EuroNCAP,...) is
done ensuring Compliance and Ethics policy of the Group and after validation of Group External Affairs
Direction.
