Job Summary:
As a Site Safety and Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations adhere strictly to safety protocols, legal regulations, and internal quality standards. You will play a key role in promoting a zero-accident culture on-site

Key Responsibilities:
Safety Management:

- Conduct daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and safety drills
- Ensure proper use of PPE and monitor compliance across all workers and contractors
- Identify unsafe practices, take corrective action, and escalate major issues
- Maintain safety checklists, incident logs, and safety signage across the site
- Ensure compliance with on-site fire, first-aid, and emergency protocols

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure site operations meet local and national safety standards (BOCW, MoRTH, IRC)
- Maintain updated records for inspections, licenses, and permits
- Assist in preparing reports for audits, authorities, and internal reviews
- Monitor contractor and labor compliance with safety norms and labor laws

Training & Reporting:

- Conduct induction training for all new workers and laborers
- Keep records of training, drills, and safety equipment issued
- Report incidents, near-misses, and violations to senior management
- Assist in investigations and corrective action planning after incidents

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- ITI/Diploma in Safety, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a high-safety environment (preferably road or infrastructure projects)
- Knowledge of safety procedures, PPE usage, and hazard identification
- Strong observational, communication, and record-keeping skills
- Basic knowledge of regulatory compliance in construction (BOCW, safety audits, etc.)
- Ability to speak Marathi, Hindi, and basic English

Additional Information:

- Location: Based in Pune with regular travel to project sites
- Work Environment: Outdoor work at active construction zones
- Working Days: 6 days/week (Site-dependent)
- Probation Period: 3 months.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
