Responsibilities for architectural draftsman:

- Assist scheduling the development of projects
- Coordinate drawings with outside consultants
- Sketchup knowledge is must.
- Remain informed on industry trends and related new technologies that could benefit the department
- Establish and maintain drafting and modeling best practices for the department
- To create various schematic design, design development, and construction drawings
- Prepare site plans
- Provide support to others users regarding AutoCAD, 3D and similar software
- Producing drawings from surveyed data and supplied as-builts using AutoCad software
- AutoCAD Certified
- Review and approve work statement packages for all assemblies
- Prepare drawings of all types of Survey Maps, including but not limited to Mortgage Surveys, Boundary Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Tree Surveys, Route Surveys and Subdivision Final Plats
- Compute stakeout points for construction stakeout
- Reproduces maps and revises maps as changes occur and maintains up to date distribution maps of Electric and Gas systems
- To support the engineering team in generating the necessary secondary engineering schematics schematics, terminal plans, cable schedules, component list, assembly drawings.

**Qualifications for architectural draftsman**:

- No experience required
- Occasional travel may be required to other locations within Chennai
- Ability to work in interior views and detail plan.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
