- Interpreting orders: Using order invoices to determine which items to send out
- Packaging: Packing items into containers like boxes, bottles, or crates
- Quality control: Checking products for quality and reporting any issues
- Labeling: Marking and labeling containers and products
- Stacking: Stacking items safely and securely on pallets
- Loading: Loading products and materials into package-processing equipment
- Transporting: Moving packages to customers' vehicles or other designated areas
- Maintaining a clean work area: Keeping the work area clean, sanitary, and safe
- Operating equipment: Using equipment like forklifts, pallet wrappers, and pallet jacks
- Following safety requirements: Following manufacturing best practices and safety requirements
