
Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the project management team to deliver successful projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring all administrative tasks are handled efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Project Planning & Coordination**:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, milestones, and deadlines.
- Help create project plans, timelines, and track project progress against deadlines.
- Coordinate communication between project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- **Communication & Collaboration**:
- Facilitate meetings and maintain clear communication across internal teams, clients, and external partners.
- Document meeting notes, action items, and follow up on progress.
- Ensure the team has the resources and information needed to execute project tasks.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:
- Maintain project documentation including project plans, status reports, and client updates.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports to stakeholders.
- Keep records of project meetings, decisions, and deliverables.
- **Task Management & Tracking**:
- Track project tasks and deadlines, ensuring that all milestones are met.
- Coordinate with team members to resolve roadblocks or delays.
- Assist with task delegation and follow-up to ensure that tasks are completed on time.
- **Risk & Issue Management**:
- Identify and escalate potential risks or issues that may affect project timelines or outcomes.
- Work with the project manager to develop mitigation plans for risks or issues that arise.
- **Quality Control**:
- Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Ensure that all project documentation is organized and up to date.
- **Client Support & Satisfaction**:
- Act as a liaison between clients and project teams, ensuring that client needs and expectations are met.
- Support client meetings and presentations as needed.
**Key Skills & Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**:
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination or related roles, preferably in a service-based environment.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project, etc.) is a plus.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- **Other Requirements**:
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward work.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in project scope or timelines.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
- Experience in a service-based industry such as IT services, consulting, or customer service.
