Acupuncturist Job Description
An acupuncturist treats a variety of physical and psychological problems.
Acupuncturists consult with patients about symptoms, perform diagnoses, and treat ailments using acupuncture needles.

We are looking for an acupuncturist to be responsible for performing acupuncture on patients. The responsibilities of an acupuncturist include preparing herbal treatments, collecting the medical history of patients, and treating patients using needles and other tools.

To be successful as an acupuncturist, you should demonstrate compassion, possess knowledge of laws and regulations, and a strong interest in alternative medicine. Ultimately, a top-notch acupuncturist should be accredited, equipped with proven acupuncturist experience, and strong analytical skills.

Acupuncturist Responsibilities:
Acupuncture physicians have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

- Performing acupuncture procedures including pricking patients with needles at specific points on their bodies
- Preparing treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Performing ongoing assessments of patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
- Educating patients on how to prevent illness or manage existing conditions with lifestyle changes
- Performing diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays or MRIs to determine the cause of a patient’s pain or other symptoms
- Performing physical exams to assess the patient’s general health status and detect any medical problems
- Prescribing medications and other treatments to manage chronic conditions or illnesses that cannot be cured with acupuncture alone
- Treating patients with acupuncture, acupressure, moxibustion, cupping therapy, tui na (Chinese massage), electrostimulation, and other modalities
- Counseling patients on stress management techniques and other lifestyle changes to improve their overall health
