**Role Purpose**

To **bring Sucoon’s philosophy to life through design**. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating women’s Indian and fusion wear that seamlessly balances:

**Key Responsibilities1. Design & Development**
- Design seasonal collections (Indian wear, fusion wear, smart separates) with a strong sense of silhouette, fabric, and finish.
- Interpret moodboards, cultural references, and brand stories into tangible design concepts.
- Develop CADs, tech packs, embroidery/print layouts and detail sheets for production.
- Regularly research trends, market movements, and customer preferences to keep the line fresh but aligned with Sucoon’s identity.

**2. Fabric & Surface Exploration**
- Work closely with sourcing to select and develop unique fabrics that offer comfort, drape, and tactile richness.
- Develop embroidery, print, dyeing, and surface treatment directions that reflect brand DNA (subtle, elegant, purposeful).

**3. Sampling & Production Coordination**
- Oversee and guide the sampling team during prototype development.
- Conduct regular fittings and quality checks to ensure design intent is executed flawlessly.
- Collaborate with the production and merchandising team for timely launches.

- Support the marketing team in telling the story behind each collection, piece, and design process.
