**Position - VMC Operator Programmer**

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and program **Vertical Machining Centers (VMC)** as per production requirements.
- Prepare, load, and inspect **CNC programs (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls)**.
- Read and interpret **engineering drawings, CAD models, and process sheets**.
- Select and set up tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices as per the job.
- Perform **offsets, tool changes, and parameter adjustments** to maintain part quality.
- Conduct **first-piece inspection** and ensure dimensional accuracy of machined components.
- Maintain machine logs, tool life data, and production records.
- Perform **preventive maintenance and routine checks** on machines and tools.
- Work closely with the quality and design teams to resolve machining issues.
- Ensure **safety, housekeeping, and adherence to 5S standards** in the work area.

**Key Skills**:

- Knowledge of **CNC/VMC machine operation and programming (G & M codes)**:

- Experience with **CAM software (Mastercam / DelcaM/Fusion 360)** preferred
- Ability to read and interpret **mechanical drawings and GD&T**:

- Good understanding of **cutting tools, speeds & feeds, and machining parameters**:

- Basic knowledge of **measurement instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, CMM, etc.)**:

- Strong **attention to detail** and commitment to quality

**Qualification**:

- **Diploma / ITI** in Mechanical, Production, or Tool & Die Making
- **VMC**Programming certification (preferred but not mandatory)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
