The **Loading & Unloading Supervisor** is responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe handling of goods during loading and unloading operations. They ensure compliance with safety regulations, manage labor teams, and coordinate logistics to maintain productivity and minimize damages or delays.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision & Coordination**:

- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods to ensure timely and accurate operations.
- Assign tasks to laborers and ensure efficient workflow.
- Coordinate with truck drivers, warehouse staff, and logistics teams.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during loading/unloading operations.
- Conduct safety briefings and enforce proper use of protective equipment.
- Monitor adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
- **Quality Control & Damage Prevention**:

- Inspect goods before and after loading/unloading for damages.
- Ensure proper stacking and handling to prevent breakage or spoilage.
- Report any damaged or missing items to the appropriate department.
- **Workforce Management**:

- Supervise and train laborers on correct handling techniques.
- Monitor employee performance and ensure high productivity.
- Address worker concerns and resolve conflicts when necessary.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of shipments, loading/unloading times, and discrepancies.
- Prepare daily reports on operations and submit them to management.
- Ensure proper documentation of received and dispatched goods.
- **Equipment & Facility Management**:

- Ensure forklifts, pallets, and other handling equipment are in good working condition.
- Coordinate maintenance and report any operational issues.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy loads if required.

**Work Environment**:

- Warehouse, dockyard, or logistics facility setting.
- May involve working in varying weather conditions.
- Shift work, including nights and weekends, may be required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Nottingham, MD 21236 (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Nottingham, MD 21236: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
