**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Nutritional Assessment**:

- Evaluate patients’ nutritional status by reviewing their medical histories, lab results, and dietary intake.
- Conduct nutritional screening and assessment for patients at risk of malnutrition or those with specific dietary needs.
- **Diet Planning and Meal Customization**:

- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans tailored to patients’ health conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease, renal issues, or cancer.
- Coordinate with hospital kitchen staff to ensure the preparation of meals aligns with prescribed dietary requirements.
- **Patient Counseling and Education**:

- Educate patients and their families about dietary guidelines, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of nutrition in disease management and prevention.
- Provide guidance on nutrition therapy and post-discharge dietary needs.
- **Collaboration with Healthcare Team**:

- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutritional care into the overall treatment plan.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust nutritional plans as needed.
- **Dietary Management for Special Populations**:

- Design meal plans for patients with unique dietary needs, such as those in critical care, on tube feeding, or with food allergies.
- Monitor and adjust enteral and parenteral nutrition in patients who require it.
- **Documentation and Monitoring**:

- Maintain accurate records of patients' nutritional assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Monitor patients' progress, including weight changes, lab values, and overall health, to adjust diet plans accordingly.
- **Menu Development and Food Service Oversight**:

- Collaborate with food service managers and kitchen staff to design hospital menus that meet nutritional standards and are suitable for the patient population.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hospital guidelines.
- **Research and Continuous Education**:

- Participate in continuing education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- **Public Health and Wellness Promotion**:

- Contribute to hospital wellness programs by promoting healthy eating and nutrition awareness.
- Lead group sessions or workshops on various topics related to nutrition and health for patients, hospital staff, or the community.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
