**Admissions Officer**
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To be wholly responsible for the admissions process for the school, mid-term admissions and leavers, waiting list.)
- Develop and review the Admission policy in line with school’s vision mission and compliance guidelines
- Solely responsible for student projection for the consecutive Academic years in liaison with the principal and other academic team.
- Have excellent knowledge of all school admissions procedures to carry out all admissions duties in a timely and efficient manner ensuring deadlines are met within the school office in order to maintain the efficient running of the school.
- In liaison with the Marketing team, prepare and produce advertising and publicity materials relating to admissions e.g. press advertisements for open days, issuing invitations to feeder schools, updating admissions information on school websites etc.
- To be the key person responsible for admissions in accordance with the school admission policy and compliance.
- Responsible for ensuring school admission prospects are kept up-to-date in liaison with the Principal.
- To monitor prospective parent visits to the school and interact with parents on admission process
- Responsibility for entrance examinations, assessment and interview procedures for entry into the school and undertaking analysis of entrance examination/test results as required liaising with the academic team.
- Responsibility for inviting new pupils to orientation including preparation, collation and distribution of all orientation materials. Assist with form allocation and prepare pupil orientation materials as required; and coordinate to allocate relevant teaching staff with the required documentation relating to new pupils and their orientation.
- To be responsible for overlooking and managing all pupil records, data entry in the student portal as per the School admissions policy and compliance.
- To manage an effective daily liaison with the other office staff to ensure all relevant information is entered into Admissions and Accounting systems to ensure these systems are up-to-date and correct.
- Ensure that the Finance Dept is promptly informed of pupil leavers, new starters and any changes in financial assistance, so that fee billing is as accurate as possible
- Ensuring School Admission records and student data along with the details of the parents are completed and updated on government portal
- Responsible for organizing and participating in open days, exhibitions, public events and to ensure that school branding is published.
- Plan the visits to the nurseries and invite them to be feeder nurseries.
- Train, guide and mentor the admission team with appropriate soft skills required to handle the parent/student community

- The Job Holder must not undertake any other job during the employment with DIS and private tuitions for the School's students at any time.
