**SUMMARY**:
This job requires securing funding through the creation of compelling grant proposals and having the ability to craft persuasive narratives, conduct research, and manage grant opportunities, which will directly impact our mission to make a positive difference in our community.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepare grant proposals, ensuring they are well-written, concise, and adhere to the specific guidelines of each funding source.
- Assess the eligibility and alignment of grants with our organization's mission and projects.
- Craft persuasive narratives that clearly articulate the organization's goals, impact, and funding needs.
- Stay informed about grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other sources.
- Monitor grant agreements and reporting obligations to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, financial reports, and other documentation as required by grantors.
- Foster relationships with funders, grant-making institutions, and donors.
- Express gratitude for grant awards and provide regular updates on the use of funds.
- Continuously research and identify potential grant opportunities to support the organization's programs and initiatives.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in grant writing, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Excellent research and data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grant writing certification or coursework.
- Experience with grant management software.
- Knowledge of the non-profit landscape and funding sources.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Work may be conducted both in an office environment and remotely, depending on organizational needs.
