**Educational Qualification**: B.Tech / M.Tech from **IIT or equivalent top-tier institute** in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science
**Compensation**: ₹70 LPA

**Job Overview**

We are seeking an **exceptional Data Scientist** from a **top-tier institute (IIT preferred)** with deep expertise in **Generative AI, NLP, and GPT model development**.

This is a **strategic, high-impact position** that directly contributes to IPDM’s AI innovation roadmap and digital transformation initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Advanced AI & GPT Model Development**
- Develop intelligent automation workflows leveraging **prompt engineering** and **retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)**.
- Implement **parameter-efficient fine-tuning (LoRA, PEFT)** and **token optimization** techniques for scalable AI.
- Build and maintain model evaluation frameworks for bias detection, interpretability, and ethical AI compliance.

**2. Machine Learning & Data Science**
- Design predictive models using supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
- Perform **feature engineering**, model optimization, and hyperparameter tuning.
- Conduct advanced data analysis, anomaly detection, and time-series forecasting.
- Implement **MLOps pipelines** for continuous integration and deployment of models.

**3. AI Product Integration**
- Work closely with **engineering and product teams** to embed AI capabilities into enterprise platforms.
- Create **API-driven architectures** for AI inference and conversational systems.
- Deploy AI workloads using **cloud environments (AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI)**.

**4. Research & Innovation**
- Stay ahead of advancements in **LLMs, Generative AI, and NLP research** (OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta AI, Mistral, etc.).
- Develop **custom frameworks for prompt optimization, context learning, and chaining**.
- Publish internal research papers and contribute to **AI innovation labs**.
- Mentor junior data scientists and collaborate with academic research partners.

**Required Skills & Competencies**
- Deep understanding of **Generative AI**, **Transformer architectures**, and **LLM frameworks** (GPT, LLaMA, Claude, Mistral, etc.)
- Advanced programming in **Python**, with proficiency in **PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers**:

- Expertise in **prompt engineering**, **context learning**, and **RAG pipeline design**:

- Strong skills in **data preprocessing, NLP, embeddings, and model evaluation**:

- Familiarity with **LangChain, Pinecone, FAISS, or vector database systems**:

- Hands-on experience with **cloud-based ML deployment** and **API integration**:

- Strong research mindset, analytical thinking, and leadership ability

**Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)**
- M.Tech / PhD from IIT / IISc with specialization in **AI, NLP, or Machine Learning**:

- Published research in **AI, NLP, or Generative Modeling**:

- Experience building **custom AI frameworks, agents, or autonomous systems**:

- Proficiency with **Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps frameworks**:

- Familiarity with **ethical AI, data privacy, and explainable AI standards**
