**Job Description**:
**Summary**
The Business Process Editor supports process document owners in the process of creating or revising documents, like manuals, procedures, work instructions, or templates. The level of support may vary depending on the need of the document owner and may range from creating graphical workflows to illustrate processes, converting text fragments into easily readable and properly laid out final text, up to creating whole documents based on the detailed input by the document owner. Fully understanding the formal requirements of formal documents, an editor is also capable to ensure formal compliance of the documents.
While QMS/formal process documents are typically produced using Microsoft Word or Excel, the creation of graphical workflows may also require the use of special process modelling tools like Signavio etc.
**Scope**:
While located in the GEBS India, this position will support process owners globally in LCS business or beyond, if required. And, working closely with Global Process Owners and global LCS QMS team.
**Required Qualifications**
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Quality, Engineering or other professional area.
Very good skills in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Visio
Good understanding of MS SharePoint platform (Admin Level)
Basic quality management knowledge
Excellent English language/communication skills (written and spoken)
Thorough, structured, and accurate working style
Sense for well-structured, easy to read documents
**Desired Qualification**
Basic programming skills, knowledge of one or more process modeling tools like Signavio etc.
**Functional**
- Support authors of business process documents in initiating, creating, and finalizing the documents by assisting in defining the formal requirements of the document (e.g., selecting correct templates, assign appropriate document ID), in reviewing the documents for formal correctness, in editing the document for minor formal corrections, and in routing the documents for review and approval
- Ability to help in converting the thought-process/inputs in the minds of the authors into a well structure document that is easily understood and readable by the users of the documents
- Help authors with general questions related the use of the QMS SharePoint site
- Supports business teams in different time zones, requiring adjusting own office hours to enable instant support via MS-Teams or phone at time
