Student Counsellor

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- As a student counsellor, you will need to provide students with impartial advice on choosing his/her designation for their studies. You will need to assist the students to make the best decisions for their higher studies and making the processes and them feel at ease.
- Starting off with an informal chat to properly instill in students the right set of choices after thoroughly examining their educational qualifications and fully understanding their curriculum preferences.
- To provide authentic and updated information about various choices which includes different destinations and universities based on their academic history and career objectives.
- Provide detailed and clear information about the country, program and admission entry requirements of the universities of student’s choice.
- Place yourself in the shoes of the student, their preference, their financial stability based on which the counsellors should shortlist the options for the students.
- Prepare a course sheet of the preferred course of study of program.
- Advise students about the standardized tests and guide them effectively for their interview preparation, if needed.
- Aid students by preparing statement of purposes.
- Excellent and updated knowledge of student visa conditions and client programs and processes.
- Systematically maintain student’s data at every stage and follow through process.
- Building a sound and professional rapport with the students.

**Location : Thanjavur / Chennai**

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- total work: 1 year (preferred)
- Counselling: 1 year (preferred)
