**About the Job**
- Create engaging mid-length (8 to 12-minute) video content for YouTube, optimizing for maximum viewer retention and engagement
- Accurately interpret and execute provided scripts, with a strong focus on preserving the intended narrative and creative direction
- Transform raw footage into compelling story-driven videos that capture audience attention and faithfully represent the intended narrative
- Edit footage to develop concise, high-impact storytelling within the 8 to 12-minute format
- Incorporate appropriate music, visual effects, and transitions to enhance content appeal
- Proven experience in video editing, particularly with **story-driven YouTube content (at least 3 years)**:

- **Strong passion for narrative comprehension**and ability to interpret written scripts into visual storytelling
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software **(Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro)**:

- Strong understanding of storytelling principles and viewer retention techniques
- Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design
- **Creative eye for composition, pacing, and visual aesthetics**:

- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines with mínimal supervision
- Portfolio demonstrating successful YouTube content creation

**Performance Metrics**
- Video completion rate and audience retention percentages
- Growth in channel subscribers attributed to story-driven content
- Average view counts compared to channel benchmarks
- Engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares)
- Content production volume and consistency
- Content quality and storytelling effectiveness

**Collaboration & Reporting**
- Work closely with scriptwriters to ensure narrative coherence
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate innovative content ideas
- Provide technical guidance to other team members regarding platform requirements
- Communicate project status updates through established project management systems
- Attend regular content review meetings to receive feedback and implement improvements

- 7 videos/week (8-12 mins each)
