Reporting to: Executive chef/ CDP

The Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) is responsible for supporting the Chef de Partie in the preparation, production, and presentation of high-quality Japanese dishes. This role requires strong attention to detail, discipline, and knowledge of traditional and modern Japanese culinary techniques, including sushi, tempura, robatayaki, and/or kaiseki.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and execution of Japanese dishes in your assigned kitchen section (e.g., sushi, grill, tempura, simmered dishes)
- Ensure all mise en place is completed to the highest standard before service
- Maintain proper portion control and presentation in accordance with house standards
- Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures in accordance with HACCP and company policies
- Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Monitor food stock and assist with inventory management and ordering
- Train and supervise junior staff and apprentices within your section
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 4-5 years of kitchen experience, preferably in Japanese cuisine (experience in kaiseki, sushi, or izakaya-style cooking is a plus)
- Basic knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques, ingredients, and knife handling
- Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions accurately
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Culinary diploma or relevant training is an advantage

**Salary**:

- 25k to 27k Per month ( Based On Food Trails)
