The Role

As a Pega tester at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients - which means some of the biggest in the world. Pega Platform provides user-interface (UI) based scenario testing to confirm that the end-to-end cases work as expected. Pega also provides a full suite of tools to monitor and address performance.

The responsibilities also Includes:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure API functionality aligns with requirements.- Provide technical guidance to junior team members.- Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to validate user acceptance criteria.- Assist in authoring user acceptance tests.- Participate in ST, SIT and UAT execution and feedback.- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects.- Communicate test results, progress, and challenges effectively.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth testing processes.- Validate compliance with user requirements, industry best practices, and regulatory guidelines.- Participate in quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle.- Set up and maintain test environments for different testing phases.- Ensure that test environments accurately represent production environments.- Troubleshoot any environment-related issues.

Required Technical and Professional Experience- 7+ years of Proven hands-on experience with manual and automation testing of web development, APIs, and scripting languages- Understanding of Pega concepts - should understand concepts like Operator ID rules, RuleSet, Access Group, Worklist Concept, WorkBasket Concept, Service Level Agreements, and Declarative Statements-
- Implement best practices for testing within the Pega PRPC environment.- Experience Creating and executing test plans and test cases.- Experience in successfully implementing quality guidelines, standards and procedures- Ability to Create detailed test plans that cover various scenarios and use cases.- Creative - able to think outside the box; uses knowledge gained through prior experience, education, and training to resolve issues and remove project barriers in a timely manner- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills a plus

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience- With bachelor's degree or master’s degree- Good to have technical understanding of Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) and Pega product knowledge- Align testing efforts with user requirements and organizational standards.- Conduct manual testing by following test cases and scripts.- Use a defect tracking system to log and manage identified problems.- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues promptly.- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
