**Key Responsibilities:

- **Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and guidelines in nuclear medicine departments.
- Conduct regular radiation surveys and inspections of nuclear medicine equipment and facilities to identify potential hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of radiation exposure levels for staff and patients.
- Develop, maintain, and update radiation protection programs, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective implementation of safety protocols.
- Act as the primary contact for regulatory agencies regarding radiation safety matters.
- Submit required reports and documentation to regulatory bodies.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, or a related field.
- **Certification**: Certified Radiation Safety Officer (CRSO) credential preferred.
- **Experience**: 3- 5 years of experience in nuclear medicine practice, with a strong understanding of radiation safety principles and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training on radiation safety principles to staff members and students.
