Testing Associate I

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job Summary**:
As a Testing Associate at JP Morgan Chase within Consumer & Community Banking in Auto Lending team, you will be the key driver in the project delivery lifecycle. This team group partners across Consumer and Community Banking and the JPMC Enterprise to define strategies and approaches for User Acceptance Testing activities, as well as setting and stewarding sound UAT Management methodologies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Write well designed, testable, and efficient code
- Support continuous improvement of tools by investigating other innovative solutions for design review and implementation
- Deliver on ideas from concept through to implementation, including issue root cause analysis
- Liaise with onshore managers on all progress and issues related to automation testing

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- 5+years' experience with functional testing automation tools and technologies (Selenium, Java, Cucumber)
- 4+ years experience with API (Application Programming Interface) test automation (Rest Assured, SoapUI, Postman)
- 4 years' experience working with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server and DB2. Experience with version control tools (GIT/Bit Bucket)
- 5 years with agile/scrum experience.
- Have strong organization and time management capabilities. Be an effective communicator and a team player

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Agile practices and Quality engineering practices
- Be able to contribute in all phases of software development lifecycle. Be results-oriented with a strong attention to detail
- Nice to have - Python experience
- Nice to have - Financial/Mortgage background
