**Roles and Responsibilities**

Managing accounting operations (often including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition)- Should be able to regulate/monitor costs and analyze costs associated with various projects/activities.
- Develop, Implement financial controls and define financial procedure and process
- Conducting variance and root cause analysis from a Budget v/s Actual and Prior Year v/s Actuals, Prior Estimates v/s Current against Forecasts.
- Review budgets, cash flow, financial and management accounts
- Finalization of annual books of accounts, balance sheet and financial reporting
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements that are appropriate for all stakeholders in accordance with prevailing accounting principles
- Co-ordinate and assist in the preparation of budget and financial forecasts
- Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting and reporting financial data
- Conducting analysis and ensuring expenses have been correctly recorded
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, credit control, and petty cash
- Ensure all statutory requirements of the organization are met including income tax, sales tax, etc.
- Timely communicate clearly and regularly with team and business unit and guiding executives in making sound business decisions in the short and long term
