Hospital Pharmacist

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Dispensing Medications
- Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
- Verify and interpret physician orders and prescriptions.
- Ensure the correct dosage, form, and quantity of medications are dispensed.

2. Patient Counselling
- Provide comprehensive counselling to patients on the proper use and storage of medications.
- Educate patients about potential side effects and interactions of medications.
- Answer patient inquiries regarding medications and healthcare products.

3. Inventory Management
- Maintain an adequate inventory of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
- Monitor and order stock as needed to prevent shortages.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medications to maintain their efficacy.

4. Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and patient information.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services.

5. Collaboration with Healthcare Providers
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide pharmaceutical advice and recommendations to healthcare providers.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) from a recognized institution.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Previous experience in a hospital, retail pharmacy, or clinical setting is preferred.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
