Science Engagement Facilitator

Overview:
The Science Engagement Facilitator is responsible for delivering engaging and informative science demonstrations to students at various educational levels. This role involves creating captivating experiments, presenting scientific concepts in an accessible manner, and inspiring curiosity and enthusiasm for science among students. The Facilitator will enhance the learning experience and promote scientific literacy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Introduce materials, equipment, and resources provided for demonstrations, reinforce classroom instructions and safety protocols to adhere to while performing experiments, and dispose of used materials/ chemicals after use.
- Demonstrate appropriate scientific concepts, topics, and methodologies utilizing effective communication techniques and multimedia aids to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and age groups to enhance understanding while aligning with curriculum objectives and Pedagogy.
- Confidently perform during the recording of video content

Qualifications:

- B.Sc or higher degree in Science (e.g., science education, physics, chemistry, biology). B.Ed desired.
- 5-7 yrs of teaching experience is preferred
- Experience in delivering engaging and interactive science demonstrations
- Strong knowledge of Science content for grades 6-12, scientific principles, concepts and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Fluently read, write, and speak in English and Kannada
- Previous experience in performing science video demonstrations will be preferred
