Clinical Pharmacologist

**Key Requirements**:

- To work in cooperation with physicians and other clinical health providers to review and dispense medications to patients.
- To evaluate a patient’s drug regimen and recommend an alternative pharmaco-therapeutic plan if the prescribed medications produce allergic reactions.
- To educate patients on proper medication usage and monitor them for health problems.
- Providing real time input on the medications the patients are on, reviewing interactions, helping with d/c planning, coordinating insurance clearance of medications
- Reviewing Chemotherapy protocols
- Making sure that the signed chemotherapy orders are correct and contacting the physicians whenever there might be any discrepancy
- Be actively involved in Clinical research in the Department, Pharmaco-vigilance,
- Pharmaco-economics, community services, research and academics
