We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Surveyor** to conduct field surveys of **Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)**. The surveyor will be responsible for collecting qualitative and quantitative data from business owners, analyzing responses, and ensuring data accuracy. The role involves travel to various locations, interacting with MSME stakeholders, and compiling insights to support research and policy recommendations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Survey Execution**:

- Conduct field visits to MSMEs across designated regions.
- Administer structured questionnaires to business owners and key stakeholders.
- **Data Collection & Accuracy**:

- Accurately record responses using digital tools or paper-based formats.
- Verify and validate data to minimize errors or inconsistencies.
- Identify gaps or anomalies in data and take corrective actions as needed.
- **Stakeholder Interaction**:

- Build rapport with MSME owners to encourage participation in surveys.
- Address any concerns or questions raised by respondents.
- Communicate survey objectives clearly to ensure high-quality responses.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Compile survey findings and summarize key insights.
- Submit daily/weekly progress reports to supervisors.
- Maintain proper documentation of completed surveys, including respondent details and business characteristics.

**Requirements**:

- 2-wheeler or 4-wheeler
- Smart phone with good quality camera to take pictures

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in **Economics, Business, Social Sciences, Statistics, Market Research, or a related field** (preferred).
- Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply.
- **Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in field surveys, market research, or socio-economic studies.
- Prior experience in MSME research or working with business communities is a plus.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic analytical and report-writing skills.
- Ability to travel extensively and work in different field conditions.
- Familiarity with regional languages (preferred).

- **Location**: Mumbai - Multiple locations (as per survey requirements).
- **Employment Type**: Contractual
- **Travel Requirements**: Extensive travel in assigned regions within city.

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
