Experienced Financial Planning and Analysis professional to join Corporate Finance team at OakNorth to focus on reporting (both internal and external) as well as a broad array of planning projects and processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Will become a key member of the Bank Corporate Finance team and will drive a broad array of financial planning and analysis projects and processes
- Role will encompass financial planning, financial modelling, analysis, internal/external reporting, investor relations as well as working on special, ad hoc projects as and when they arise (e.g. fund raising, acquisitions, any future IPO)
- Contribute to creating annual/5-year business financial plans & performing financial analysis to support decision making
- Create financial MIS and other management information packs on a weekly/monthly basis and lead communication with the Management team
- Help drive cost control, ensure full understanding of the expense items in the P&L. Engage functional leaders to help them manage budgets and provide financial insights
- Track monthly results and ensure accuracy of the reported P&L number and drive the monthly P&L closing working with the controllership team
- Track overall headcount for the group, including hiring pipeline and estimate their impact on overall costs
- Contribute to projects and key strategic analysis for the Corporate Finance team
- Support financial reporting system implementation
- understand key functional requirements and liaise with the technical team to drive an optimal IT solution
- Play an active role in all external Investor relations and monthly/quarterly reporting
- Competitor and benchmarking analysis: Periodically track competitor performance and benchmark with OakNorth
- Support fund raising initiatives and due diligence process

**Desired Skills**:

- 7+ years’ experience in Bank FP&A required
- Skills in developing presentations - including Excel charts, Power Point etc.
- Ability to work with GL systems (Netsuite), Data warehouses etc. to automate reports, familiarity with Power BI and such reporting tools
- Personal drive(proactive), flexible, creative (thinks out of the box), result driven, responsible, curious, team player and a fast learner
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Strong accounting knowledge and ability to link P&L results to economic and accounting drivers
- Ability to succeed in a culture where change and speed are part of daily work
- Has an eye for details and ability to connect the dots while preparing financial analysis
- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or MBA from a reputable institution
