**Bhoomi AI is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our mission of empowering farmers with personalized crop advice**

In this role, you'll collaborate with our co-founder to build a database on different crop diseases and their images. This will identify pests and crop diseases, allowing us to create customized recommendations for farmers. We have a multinational team of agricultural researchers and AI experts from USA, Canada, France and India.

Job Responsibilities:
**Become a Champion for Farmer Success**

We're seeking passionate agricultural researchers with expertise in plant pathology and entomology to join our team. You'll share your knowledge and become a trusted advisor to farmers through Bhoomi AI's innovative platform.
- **Build a Knowledge Base for Farmers**: Develop a comprehensive plant disease database to empower farmers with the information they need to identify, understand, and combat plant diseases.
- **Craft Engaging Social Media Content**: Educate farmers through social media by creating informative content about disease prevention, pest control, and best agricultural practices.
- **Provide expert Advice and Guidance**: Be a go-to resource for farmers by answering their questions and providing solutions to their agricultural challenges through our platform.
- **Empower Farmers with Knowledge**: Go beyond answering questions. Help farmers develop customized plans for their fields and provide training on new technologies and practices to optimize their agricultural endeavors.
- **Gather Valuable Farmer Insights**: Conduct surveys among farmers to understand their specific needs and challenges. Use this information to continuously improve the Bhoomi AI platform and resources.

**Here's what we're looking for**:

- **Education and Experience**:

- Master's degree in Plant Pathology, Entomology, or a closely related field (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Plant Pathology, Entomology, or a closely related field with relevant experience
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in plant disease identification and management
- Strong understanding of insect pests and their control methods
- Experience with agricultural research methodologies (a plus)
- **Communication Skills**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create clear, concise, and engaging educational content
- Ability to explain complex agricultural concepts in a way that is understandable to farmers
- **Technology Skills**:

- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools
- Comfort working with online platforms and databases
- **Additional Assets**:

- Experience conducting surveys and analyzing data
- Experience developing training programs
- Passion for innovation and using technology to improve agriculture
