DIGPU offers internship opportunities for enthusiastic interns for research and analysis. The internship provides direct exposure of the News and Media industry to the interns in the domains of understanding policy, collecting critical data, analysing results to draw meaningful conclusions from minute observation.

The position requires learning and understanding tasks within the scope of research including but not limited to data sourcing, analysis and compilation of data. The research project may be a one-time activity or part of an extended project. By the end of the internship tenure, the intern will have completed numerous research projects under able leadership in addition to gaining valuable professional work experience, knowledge and skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Problem definition, thorough understanding of the topic/concept given for research
- Research all aspects of the topic and collecting reproducible data
- Analyse the data by utilising various methods of research and analysis
- Compile the inputs, analysis methods and results of the research in a readable format
- Present information effectively to share findings, results, etc at the end of the research

**Requirements**:

- Must have passed intermediate/Higher Secondary school or 12th standard
- Professional attitude and research-based approach
- Demonstrated aptitude in research skills, paper-writing, etc
- Basic computer knowledge such as browsing skills and working with data.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly with various personnel to share/ gather information.
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple tasks, projects and priorities.
