FOGSI is looking to hire a **Research Coordinator**to join its Program Enablement Unit for Project MUKTA (PEU-M) which has been set up under a grant from a family philanthropic foundation (referred to as **‘Donor’**) to work on Thalassemia prevention.

**About Project MUKTA**

Under Project MUKTA (Mission to Unite and Keep Thalassemia Away), FOGSI, in collaboration with partners, will engage private-sector health providers in 40 cities across 5 states to prioritize screening for Thalassemia among pregnant women.

**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join FOGSI’s Program Enablement Unit for Project MUKTA (PEU-M) as a Research Coordinator. The PEU-M will provide critical support across program management, field-level program delivery, financial management, research and evidence building, content development, communications, and advocacy.

The Research Coordinator’s responsibilities will include extensive research, analysis of the data received from city coordinators, and coordination with senior team members and partner organisations to produce some of the advocacy materials.

**Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities for this role include:
**1. Evidence Generation and Documentation**
- Draft white papers, briefs, communication inputs, and support knowledge product development
- Develop dashboards to collate overall insights for Project MUKTA
- Liaise with advocacy and MEL partners to build an evidence base for screening and diagnostics

**2. Content Support**
- Provide ecosystem research inputs for strategy documents, advocacy materials, program briefs, and driving private partnerships
- Curate content and case studies from field-level practices
- Collate learnings from training, convenings, and conference sessions

**3. Data Management Support and Analysis**
- Work with the MEL partner to oversee tool development, data collection, and analysis
- Document evidence from city networks to inform advocacy and practice adoption

**Required Qualifications and Qualities**
- Master’s degree in relevant fields: medicine, public health, administration, policy, business, development studies or social work
- At least 5-6 years of experience in public health research
- Experience in conducting secondary research and synthesizing information related to public health
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in working with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in public health
- Publications in medicine, public health or other related fields
