Requisition ID: 28643- Job Location(s): Oragadam, INWe are looking for a competent Lean & Continuous Improvement Specialist to analyse and facilitate improving the efficiency of supply chain & logistics planning/operations of our company. You will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the successful completion of continuous improvement projects.

The goal is to ensure the smooth planning & analysing the data of variety of Projects aiming for maximum efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain logistics & distribution metrics, internal analysis tools, or key performance indicators
- Develop specifications for equipment, tools, facility layouts, or material-handling systems
- Determine logistics support requirements, such as facility details, staffing needs, and equipment needs
- Evaluate the use of technology to maximize distribution centre efficiency and proposed solutions
- Develop and optimize Lean material handling systems, including Plan for Every Part (PFEP), material markets, material delivery routes, and pull signals to link continuous flow to supply of materials
- Design, lead, and conduct kaizen events and drive culture of improvement; train logistics personnel in DMAIC problem
- Conduct health checks (audits) of systems and processes, including 5S, systems execution, safety, quality, and daily direction setting
- Works closely with Packaging, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales and IT to streamline and improve information as well as process flow

**Background & Skills**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience; well-versed in Supply Chain Management & Logistics principles and practices
- Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to undertake complex analysis to create information and to interpret data and trends
- Excellent attention to detail skills
- Exposure in SAP, Excel & Power Point
- Record keeping abilities & customer-oriented approach
- Process improvement studies
- Project Management
